Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC)

Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC), also known as EPIC, is Northern Colorado’s premier aquatics facility. It is located in the northern Front Range in Fort Collins, Colorado, and is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility that offers a wide variety of recreational and competitive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

The 80,000 square foot facility houses two NHL regulation-size ice rinks, a six-lane 25-yard lap pool, a leisure pool with a lazy river, two waterslides, diving boards, seating, and a full fitness center on-site concessions. It also has a locker room area with showers, saunas, and a steam room. The Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) is also home to the only public ice climbing wall in Colorado.

In addition to public skating, open hockey, and open swim times, EPIC also offers a wide variety of programs and events for all ages such as learn to skate classes, youth and adult hockey leagues, figure skating clubs, synchronized swimming clubs, water polo leagues, masters swimming groups and much more.

Serving many nearby communities in addition to its hometown, the center gets over a million visitors a year. The Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) is also where teams like the CSU Hockey, the Water Polo, the Fort Collins Figure Skating, and the Fort Collins Area Swim Team learned to be the best in their craft. There are also many great events held at EPIC throughout the year including an annual Halloween Skate, Thanksgiving Turkey Skate, New Year’s Eve Family Celebration, Winter Pond Hockey Tournament, Valentine’s Day Couples Skate, Spring Fling Teen Dance Party, and more. You can also take part in one of their many special events like their New Year’s Eve Skate, their Doggie Dip Day, or their Family Fun Nights.

Additionally, social gatherings, business meetings, corporate functions, holiday parties, and more can be held at EPIC. The place can cater to groups of 15 to 1,500 people.
