Valmont Boulder County

Valmont is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Boulder County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Boulder, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Valmont CDP has an area of 225 acres (0.912 km2), including 53 acres (0.214 km2) of water.

Valmont is located in southeastern Boulder County, east of the city of Boulder, between Boulder Creek to the north and 200-foot-tall (60 m) Valmont Butte to the south. Valmont Road runs through the center of the community. Boulder Municipal Airport is 1.35 km northeast of downtown Valmont.

Valmont is home to Valmont Reservoir, Leggett Reservoir, and Hillcrest Reservoir which serves Boulder county. Valmont has several shopping areas including Creekside Tree Nursery, Pioneer Landscape Centers, Flatirons Subaru, Flatirons Tuning, JH Carpentry, Hanna’s Herb Shop, and The Fix Bike Shop. Valmont is home to Historic Valmont School House 1911. Valmont has plenty of parks and open spaces including Gerald Stazio Ballfields 5-7, Gerald Stazio Softball Fields, Valmont Bike Park, Valmont Dog Park, Green Block Skatepark and Square State Skate.
