The Meadows Douglas County

The Meadows is a master-planned community, located in Castle Rock, Colorado along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The city is located about 24 miles (39 km) south of Denver and 41 miles (66 km) north of Colorado Springs. 24 miles (39 km) of trails connect the community, and there are 1,100 acres (4.5 km2) of parks and public land. The community is also home to several schools, churches, playgrounds, ball fields, pools, restaurants, and a cultural arts center.

The Meadows has many parks and open spaces such as Bison Park, Butterfield Crossing Park, East Plum Creek Trail, Native Legend Open Space, Ridgeline Open Space, Ridgeline Trail, Paintbrush Park, The Grange Cultural Arts Center, and Wiggly Field Dog Park. Seven schools are located within The Meadows, including Clear Sky Elementary School, Meadow View Elementary School, Soaring Hawk Elementary School, Castle Rock Middle School, Castle View High School, Academy Charter School, and Academy Charter School. The community is served by Castle Rock Adventist Hospital located at Meadows Boulevard.

Meadows Boulevard and Meadows Parkway serve The Meadows and are conjoined. Meadows Drive emerges north from Meadows Boulevard and Coachline Road emerges south from Meadows Parkway. The Meadows can be accessed via US 85 and SH 86.
