Rural North Boulder is a neighborhood in Boulder, Colorado, United States. Rural North Boulder straddles U.S. Route 36. It forms a natural boundary to the northeast and east. The neighborhood is located approximately 2.4 miles north of the downtown area. It borders North Broadway – Holiday, Orange Orchard, Four Mile Creek, Winding Trail, Parkside, Melody Heights, Wonderland Hills and Wonderland Lake.
Main thoroughfares in Rural North Boulder include US 36, 19th Street, Violet Avenue, Quince Avenue, Norwood Avenue, Yarmouth Avenue and Jay Road. 19th Street passes straight through the middle of the neighborhood that runs north and south. Violet Avenue emerges east from Broadway and runs west and east and intersects with 19th Avenue and ends at US 36. Norwood Avenue emerges east from Broadway and is concurrent with 26th Street and Jay Road heading east.
