Hiwan Hills Jefferson County

Hiwan Hills is a neighborhood in Evergreen, Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. It is the easternmost neighborhood in Evergreen. Hiwan Hills straddles State Highway 74 or Evergreen Parkway. Nobb Hill & Lodges is immediately west of the neighborhood, El Pinal to the north and the town of Kittredge to the east.

Hiwan Hills is almost circumvented by State Highway 74 from the west through east. State Highway 74 runs south then turns northeast at the corner of Evergreen Lake to the south and becomes Bear Creek Road running along Bear Creek and ends at the intersection of State Highway 8. Ponderosa Drive emerges south from Evergreen Parkway Access Road and runs north and south next to State Highway 74. Meadow Road to the south runs west and east and ends at State Highway 74.

Hiwan Hills has several shopping areas including Rocky Mountain Music Exchange, Ponderosa Market and Spirits, Ultra Construction, Fox Fab Moto, Let’s Go Paragliding, LLC, Rising Graphics & Printing Inc., and EAPL Thrift Store. Hiwan Hills is home to Hiwan Heritage Park. Pubs and restaurants in Hiwan Hills include Lariat Lodge Brewing Company, Bobby-G’s Dawg House, and Campfire Evergreen. Hiwan Hills is served by Evergreen Academy.

Places of worship include United Methodist Church, Christ the King Catholic Church, First Church of Christ Scientist, Church of the Cross, Evergreen Christian Church, Canyon Community Church, and Church of the Transfiguration.
