Greenwood Village Arapahoe County

The City of Greenwood Village is a home rule municipality located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. Greenwood Village is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. There are 5,299 acres (21,444 km2) of land and 0.032 kilometers (0.7 acres) of water in the town.

Greenwood Village is bordered by Cherry Hills Village to the north, Southglenn and Centennial to the south, and Littleton to the west.

Main thoroughfares serving Greenwood Village include Interstate 25, SH 88, and SH 177. SH 88 emerges west from Interstate 25 and forms a boundary to the north. Interstate 25 runs northwest and southeast and has an interchange with SH 88 to the south. Orchard Road forms a boundary to the south. SH 177 runs north and south and passes through the city.

Greenwood Village includes part of the Denver Technological Center. Companies currently based in Greenwood Village include Air Methods, American Medical Response, CoBank, CSG International, eBags.com, Empower Retirement, Great-West, IQNavigator, Newmont Goldcorp Corporation, Red Robin, Black-eyed Pea Colorado restaurants, Weather Nation TV and Xanterra Parks and Resorts.

Greenwood Village is the site of the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, an 18,000-seat outdoor venue. To the northeast outside of Greenwood Village is where Cherry Creek Reservoir is located. Parks and green spaces in the city include Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve, High Line Canal Trail, Westlands Park, Sully Park, Silo Park and Lindsay Park.
