Cimarron Hills is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by El Paso County, Colorado, United States. Cimarron Hills is an enclave of the City of Colorado Springs. The CDP is a part of the Colorado Springs, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community has almost no area of water and has an area of 3,803 acres (15.391 km2) of land.
The community of Cimarron Hills is three miles north of the Colorado Springs Airport, and six miles south of St. Francis Hospital. Marksheffel serves as one of the main roads and forms a natural border to the east. Highway 24 or U.S. Route 24 enters from the east and turns into East Platte Avenue curving towards the southwest. North Powers Boulevard partially forms a border to the west. Omaha Boulevard and Constitution Avenue run east-west through the community while Peterson Road covers north-south. The interchange of East Platte Avenue and Highway 21 occupies the southwest corner of the border. Cimarron Hills is 1.5 miles north of U.S. Highway 24. It is also 9 miles from Interstate 25.
Cimarron Hills is home to a popular restaurant called Golden Corral Buffet & Grill on Waynoka Road. Further north of North Powers Boulevard is the HuHot Mongolian Grill and Bubba’s 33 on Constitution Avenue. The community is mostly occupied by residential houses with very few parks such as Cimarron Eastridge Park and Eastridge Dog Park on Shawnee Drive off south of Constitution Avenue. Towards the south of Peterson Road is the World Golf & Sand Creek Golf Course.
