Bear Creek Jefferson County

Bear Creek is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is 8 miles southwest of Denver.

Bear Creek is located at the southern end of Colorado State Highway 391 or Kipling Parkway. U.S. Route 285 passes through the community and forms the southern boundary. Kipling Parkway emerges from the north and ends at US 285 to the south. Morrison Road briefly passes through the northwest corner of the community.

Bear Creek is home to Bear Creek Greenbelt and occupies the northeastern corner of the community, Bear Creek Lakes flow into the community. A notable landmark called The Stone House is located at the Bear Creek Greenbelt. Other parks in Bear Creek include Sister City Park, bear park, Rampart Park, and Westborough Park. Bear Creek High School is located along Kipling Parkway, nearby is the Bear Creek K-8 School located at Dartmouth Place. Saint John Chrysostom Orthodox Church serves Bear Creek.
